Shayla leaves a note on Dales Laptop bag.  DO NOT TURN OVER IF YOU ARE NOT DAD!

Dale finds the letter and reads it. It goes on to ask her daddy if they could go ice skating. She really wants to go and can't wait to try it.  At the end she says please write back and let me know yes or no.

Daddy puts a letter on Shayla's pillow DO NOT TURN OVER IF YOU ARE NOT SHAYLA!

On the back side daddy printed off directions to the ice skating rink and added at the bottom, they are open form 12-2 tomorrow let's go!

It was like Christmas to her when she found the note.  She came running to me "mom we get to go ice skating tomorrow!"

Dale decided to make this a family event.  They even had skates for Addie.  Shayla thought the ice skates felt really tight on her ankles but once we went up a size it was much better.  Addie made it 1/4 of the way with me holding on to her.  I would do it again to see her in the those cute little ice skates walking around. Carter made it one full round with the help of Dale. Then he decided it hurt his legs.  Shayla loved it.  She made it around 6-7 times.  It was such a fun family day!
